Fundamentals of Yin Yoga Intensive Workshop

This is a workshop suitable to both beginners of yoga and anyone who would like to gain a good understanding of Yin Yoga Practice.
Yin Yoga is a practice inspired by Chinese Yin-Yang philosophy and Chinese medicine. The practice is based on Three Principles :
We will begin each practice by Taoist breathing, followed by a beginners sequence and ending with Taoist Six Healing Sound and Stillness. Particular focus is brought from the feet to the pelvis during the practice; Yin views the pelvis as the centre of the body.
Yin Yoga is a healing practice that is effective both in bringing hydration into the muscle tissues, as well as to reduce tension and stagnation of energy in the body. We will look at each of the three principles to understand how we can move to gain more freedom in the body.
